In celebration of Litchfield’s 300th Anniversary, this historic one-mile walking tour will take visitors through 300 years of architecture, design and history. Featuring nine homes with architectural styles dating from the 17th to 20th centuries - Saltbox, High Georgian, Federal, Italianate, Colonial Revival and a 1954 Marcel Breuer.

 

Enjoy hearing the legendary stories dating back to the American Revolution and the Civil War, while viewing interiors designed to their period or with 21st century style.   Stroll through beautiful gardens and landscapes, some restored to their original design.
