Hunt Library in Falls Village to host virtual composting class

FALLS VILLAGE — The David M. Hunt Library in Falls Village will host a program on the ins and outs of composting on Thursday, April 8, at 7 p.m. via Zoom.

Attendees can learn how to turn kitchen scraps and garden weeds in their backyard into fertilizer. Sadeh learned composting from his father helping in the garden as a kid and has composted ever since. A professor of environmental studies and a published author on Jewish ethics and environmentalism, he grows food at Adamah Farm and teaches about it, as managing director of education at Isabella Freedman Jewish Retreat Center in Falls Village.
