TORRINGTON — Five Points Annex Gallery, at 17 Water Street in downtown Torrington, will open “Lifelong Learning: Lifelong Art,” a new show that will run from June 28 through July.

This exhibition celebrates the talents and learning experiences of members and instructors from the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at UConn Waterbury (OLLI at UConn). OLLI at UConn offers learning and social experiences for anyone over the age of 50.

“Lifelong Learning: Lifelong Art” is a showcase of work accomplished through the passion for learning through our visual arts classes. The use of different media, and the creativity demonstrated, show the power of lifelong learning in finding new passions and abilities as we get older.

Five Points Annex Gallery will hold an opening reception on Friday, June 28, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Refreshments will be provided. Gallery hours are Friday through Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m., and by appointment. There is no admission charge.
