ROXBURY — “Atmospheric Landscapes,” an exhibit of paintings by Ed Muszala, will open at the Minor Memorial Library, 23 South Street, Roxbury, with a reception for the public on Saturday, May 11 from 2 to 4 p.m.
The show will continue during regular library hours, when the Community Room is not in use for another program, through Saturday, June 22. The library is open Mondays from 12 noon to 7 p.m., Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.., Thursdays from 12 noon to 5 p.m., Fridays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The library will be closed Monday, May 27 for Memorial Day.
Awed by the beautiful effects of the ever-changing combination of wind, light and clouds, Muszala’s paintings capture Nature in its great variety and grandeur. Using oil, encaustic and acrylic, the gorgeous colors in his paintings reveal his vision of a world filled with “strength, power and beauty.”
Exhibit spaces throughout the Northeast have displayed Muszala’s work and his paintings are included in numerous private collections.
