WOODBURY — The Community Theatre at Woodbury’s season finale is “The Dixie Swim Club.”

Meet five southern women, whose friendships began many years ago on their college swim team, set aside a long weekend every August to recharge those relationships. They meet at the same beach cottage to catch up, laugh, and meddle in each other’s lives. Four of those weekends are focused on and span a period of 33 years. It is a hilarious and touching comedy about friendships that last forever.

Carole Peck and the Good News Café will provide refreshments before the performance and during intermission. A raffle will be held throughout the run of the show; the proceeds to benefit the Woodbury Food Bank. The lucky person need not be present when the winning ticket is drawn during Sunday’s intermission on May19.

CTAW will provide a special Mother’s Day Matinee on May 12, to celebrate mothers by offering a complimentary glass of champagne.

Tickets are $20 for adults and $16 for seniors/youth and available at www.ctaw-ct.org/, in person at the Parks and Rec House, 7 Mountain Road, Woodbury), Woodbury Senior Center, 265 Main Street South, Woodbury, or by calling 203-405-3855. Doors open at 7 p.m. and 1:30 p.m.
