Multi-media concert, dinner at Wisdom House in Litchfield

Musician Lara Herscovitch will offer a multimedia presentation along with a post-dinner concert at Wisdom House.

LITCHFIELD — On Saturday, April 27 from 2:30 to 6:30 p.m., Wisdom House Retreat and Conference Center, 229 East Litchfield Road, Litchfield, will present a program,“Waging Love: Toward Healthier World Through Music and Beyond” presented by musician, Lara Herscovitch.

That evening Herscovitch will also present a Community Concert at Wisdom House from 7 to 8 p.m.

The workshop is a unique, multi-media session that is both educational and entertaining. It invites each participant to engage their perspective and wisdom.

Herscovitch will share stories, play music, and offer insight into what has inspired her own work. Themes will span a broad range, including community connection, hardship and hope, resilience and transformation, and success. There will be time for individual and group exercises.

Herscovitch is a modern American songwriter-poet-performer who creates folk with blues, pop, jazz influences. A former Connecticut State Troubadour, she tours and performs widely across the U.S., playing solo and with her backing band the Highway Philosophers.
