Woodbury Library to show photos by Judith Secco

"Aspens" by Judith Secco

WOODBURY — Fine art photographer Judith Secco will show her photographs at the Woodbury Public Library, 269 Main Street S, Woodbury from Jan. 3 to 30. A reception for the artist is scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 4, from 2 to 4 p.m.

Judith Secco, a native of Connecticut’s Northwest corner, is an avid self-taught photographer. Developing her own technique using layers, textures, and composites of more than one photograph, she gives her images a unique quality, enhancing nature’s beauty with an artist’s eye and neutral background, bringing nature to life.

Shooting a variety of subjects, including Connecticut farms, barns, landscapes, flowers, animals, and still life, Judith’s work finds its balance between photography and fine art.

She has won numerous awards for her work, which has been shown throughout New England.

The photography exhibit will be on view during regular library hours. For more information, visit the library’s website www.woodburylibraryct.org or call 203-263-3502.
