WOODBURY — In partnership with Woodbury Library, Community Theatre at Woodbury’s new production, “Letters of Note,” is based on the books by Shaun Usher. In this four-part series, which begins Jan. 5, CTAW announced it will offer “an evening of selected letters — some written by famous authors, and some by infamous writers!”
These letters will be read by local talent — many of whom viewers may know. Viewers of these virtual events will hear what Clementine Churchill said to her husband, Winston, when she was annoyed with him. They will hear how “Abe Lincoln got his whiskers.” Fans of “The Simpsons” will hear what Marge Simpson told First Lady Barbara Bush — and what the First Lady wrote in reply.
“Letters of Note” will be offered on Tuesday, Jan. 5 and 19 and Feb. 2 and 16 at 7 p.m. Each week offers a different selection of letters and readers.
