Doctor designs face mask, with plastic shield for extra protection

Hamden, Connecticut - Wednesday, March 25, 2020: Mary Bradley, an 18-year sewing teacher at Joann fabric store at the Hamden Mart in Hamden, shows off a Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) approved cotton face masks that are reusable and washable that customers may sew together from components that she created. Completed face masks will be given to first responders to distribute to the general populace due to the coronavirus and Covid-19 pandemic.
