Get ready to ‘Move and Groove’ at KidsPlay Children’s Museum

Maker Space specialist Lois and visitor created a circuit with the electricity tube during January’s Family Friday “It’s Electric!”

TORRINGTON — KidsPlay Children’s Museum is holding its monthly Family Friday with the theme “Move and Groove” on Feb. 22. The Museum will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. with themed activities from 5 to 8 p.m.

Families are invited to enjoy the extended day of play in the Museum’s 11,000 square feet of hands on exhibits and to participate in special activities. Themed activities include cooking a healthy and delicious international dish, making an African spin drum in the Maker Space, participating in a drum circle led by Susan Strand and a special Slumber Story Time.

Family Fridays at KidsPlay are a special opportunity to share quality time learning and exploring with the people most important to you. Admission is $8 per person. Members and children under one are free. KidsPlay Children’s Museum is at 61 Main St. Torrington.
