TORRINGTON — Tickets are still available for the 15th annual WOW! Forum, a daylong professional women’s conference.
The WOW! Forum, presented by Northwest Connecticut’s Chamber of Commerce, is set for Oct. 4 at the Warner Theatre’s Carole & Ray Neag Performing Arts Center. Registration begins at 8 a.m.Tickets are on sale now at www.WOWFORUM.org.
The theme for this year’s forum is “Unstoppable Women” with six speakers including Alana Stewart, actress, host, New York Times best-selling author, and spokesperson; Bevin Mugford, Head of Field Development for Peach, a four-year-old lifestyle brand with a mission to help women “elevate their everyday” and thrive personally and professionally; Dian Griesel, entrepreneur, author, model and influencer; Leslie Gold, former CEO of Bishop Manufacturing turned “Radiochick” who built a compelling brand in the nation’s #1 market; Grammy® Nominated New York based vocalist and pianist Nicole Zuraitis; and Tim Quinn, celebrity makeup artist and former model.
This year’s emcee, Beth Dupont, is human resources director and EEO Officer for O&G Industries, Inc., one of the region’s leading providers of construction services and products. Based in Torrington and in business since 1923, O&G employs more than 1,000 skilled employees.
In addition to the speakers, WOW! Forum attendees will enjoy a continental breakfast, lunch, a dessert & wine reception with a penny and silent auction, a gift and free parking. Auction items include a trip to Budapest, Vienna and Prague, a weekend getaway in Rhode Island, jewelry, spa treatments, Bed and Breakfast stays, Warner tickets, Red Sox merchandise, Cape Cod getaway, tons and tons of gift certificates, and other items.
